The Warming of Planet Earth

Albedo: the proportion of the incident light or radiation that is reflected by a surface, typically that of a planet or moon."
This definition of Albedo is prevelant because this is what allows the sun to cool the earth, or heat it up. Earth currently has an albedo of 30%, which allows an obvious number of 70% of the sunlight to be absorbed. Once this happens it warms all of Earth water, land atmosphere and climate. The issue arises when the “Greenhouses effect” takes place. This phase happens once the heat is absorbed from the sun, the energy slowly releases back into the atmosphere. After acting like a “blanket” that warms the Earth, the heat/energy is supposed to exit through what is called a Climate Feedback. Well this action cannot happen as fluidly as it should after humans contribute a substantial amount of Carbon Dioxide into our atmosphere. This heat-trapping device that we have greatly contributed to is due to the large amount of fossil fuels that we burn. Fossil Fuels are not the only contributor though. E-Waste, commonly known as electronic waste, is one of many ways that leads to Global Warming, the heating of the earth.
